Vegetable Momos Recipe 


Ingredients Of  Veg Momos Recipe -

Outer Covering Of Momos -

2 cups all purpose flour (maida),
1 tablespoon oil,
1/2 tablespoon salt,
1/2 tablespoon baking powder,
water as required

 Filling inside Of Momos -

2-3 cups finely chopped vegetables (1 cup carrots, 1 cup cabbage,1 cup beans and capsicum - grated ),
1 tablespoon oil,
1/2 cup Spring onion - finely chopped,
1 tablespoon garlic - chopped,
1/4 tablespoon black paper(kali mirch powder as required), 
1/2 tablespoon Soya Sauce or as required,
salt as required,

Recipe -

Making Outer Cover Of Momos -

1. Mix the maida, oil,salt and baking powder , water as required to knead to a firm dough.
2. Cover dough with Cotton fabric for 25-30 min.

Making Veg Momos Stuffing -

1. Heat oil and add the finely chopped spring onion and garlic.
2. saute over high heat for 10-15 seconds.
3. add all finely chopped vegetables (cabbage,carrot,beans and capsicum) and fry over medium to high flame till glossy.
4. switch off the heat and mix the Soya sauce , salt and Balck paper in it mix it well.
5. Check the taste and add salt and black paper if required.

Shaping The Veg Momos-


1.Roll the dough thin and cut into 4"-5" rounds.
2. Take a round, wet edges and place the filling in the center.
3.Bring edges together to cover the filling. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way.
4. Steam for about 10 minutes and serve with soya sauce and chill sauce.
